Five - day International Training course on “Prevention of HIV and STIs through Sexually Transmission in Special Target Population Groups” funded by Thailand International Development Cooperation Agency or TICA was arranged during 26 – 30 October 2009 at Sunee Grand Hotel and Convention Center, Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand. Twenty six participants from Laos PDR and Thailand participated classroom lectures followed by practical skills sessions and field visits. Action plan was initiated to strengthen capacity for cross-border collaboration on HIV prevention between Thailand and Laos PDR during this training. Then this action plan will be implemented while the monitoring and evaluation will be performed later by ITC after a period of time. |
